Special Times with Daddy

Special Moments! The children love to be around Daddy, which is helpful when Mommy is in the kitchen cooking. Although it is hard to stay there when these moments come. Here, Ruthanne asked Daddy to read a book. They are both enjoying it. Mommy enjoys it from afar!

"Is this what girls do?" Paul's expression in this picture is priceless. Ruthanne is doing Daddy's hair (usually it is Mommy's, but she was busy). Paul's not so sure about it! Cute!

Another cute expression caught by Daddy!

Fabulous Food! (and some bloopers)

"Is this how you eat proper?"

Christmas Day! Enjoying leftovers that still tasted yummy! Ruthanne was using both her knife and fork like Daddy and Mommy (notice the left hand like Daddy).

Utensils??? Who needs those? Fingers are great utensils for me!

One thing our children have down - Sondergaards eat lots of food! They have to keep up with Daddy.

Dressed for Breakfast? Well, we skipped that part this morning. Hence, the messy hair!

"Do you want to see me close-up?" This is Daddy's favorite! The children have soooo many cute expressions. How do you catch them all. Thankful for technology (sometimes).

Ruthanne wanted tea for breakfast. She thoroughly enjoyed it. Her teeth are a little purple from eating the blackberries on her pancakes.

What a face. I caught her saying "tea."

A new treat. She also had some tea the next day too!

Uh-oh! Notice her worried expression. She was "helping" Mommy in the kitchen on Saturday morning. We were making oatmeal blender pancakes. WELL.... she hit the button before I could get the lid on. Oops. Thankfully, Mommy was right there to stop it and Daddy had the camera ready to go. Ruthanne just stood there looking like she was in trouble (hard not to laugh)! What a mess! That's okay... she is learning how to cook. We still had pancakes.

Our pancakes still turned out. They are in heart shapes, because it is Paul & my 40th anniversary (well, 40 months that is). We have to keep up with Dad Sondergaard counting their 400 months anniversary. To the children, they are just thankful for someone to cook them. They ate 2-3 pancakes each! Uh oh! Look out Mommy! We are already making a double batch for just the four of us.

Enjoying Christmas Gifts & Outfits

Thank you to all our families for the Christmas gifts.
The children especially enjoyed them right away!
