A fun hat!

This was taken on Easter by Mr. Holmes. THey just sent this to us the other day.  Mrs. Holmes wore this hat and the tried it on Ruthanne! Ruthanne is not so sure!

A Memorial Day Parade of Pictures

We started the day with fresh baked cinnamon rolls made by none other than Chef Daddy!

Yum! Yum!

Always ready to eat! See his plate! I Love food!

Right after breakfast, we went on a bike ride!

The children really enjoyed the bike cart!

Whee! Off we go! I followed behind and it was fun to hear the children squeal!

We stopped at the park for a drink break and some playtime!

After the children took a 3 HOUR NAP, we had celery sticks and hummus and almond butter and jelly sandwiches. The children went for the celery and hummus first. This is Ruthanne's second helping of veggies and hummus.

Then she wanted to color. Thank you Grammie Bird for the Dot to Dot book! She learned quickly how to connect the dots.

Thank you Grandma Sondergaard for the ABC coloring pages! She loved both of them.

The rest of the evening was spent having fun outside.

Nathan is saying one of his first words, "Cheese!"

Bubble time!

We had a picnic tonight! Grilled chicken, baked beans, and roasted potatoes and veggies. Yum!

It was nice weather outside!

Nathan was shoving his food in his mouth!

Mommy had to stop him, because he kept stuffing the carrots and potatoes in. He looks like a little chipmunk. Happy Memorial Day.

So is my sister, Ruthanne! We live in Arizona, out west!

The pictures show how we are growing and learning. God is so good to give us a home and the BIBLE and parents to teach us.

Sundays are Special!

Sundays are special because we get to start the week by going to church and learning more about God so we can worship HIM more this new week! Ruthanne loves going to church.

She is always ready to go as soon as she has her clothes and Bible ready.

Ruthanne is also learning how to sit still and even sing in church. Today there were no children so she sat in the service and heard Daddy preach about being a "sweet savor of Christ."

She helps set up and clean up for church.

Ruthanne picked the "Baptist Primer" for her Sunday afternoon reading time with Daddy.

Saturdays are fun!

Saturdays are always fun. We go on a walk with...

....Daddy! We have lots of fun with him and he is home for all three meals.

Quiet Time

Mommy needed a quiet time, so I told them to go sit on the couch.
They both went and got a book and sat down to read! Cute!

We tried to catch a video of this, but it didn't work! Nathan learned how to stand upside down like this!

He also started walking in this position.

Since everyone was watching he kept on doing it!

We're Ready! Ready for what?

Nathan is ready for church! Don't mind the unmatching sock! Mommy couldn't find any thing better!

Both children are ready! Waiting patiently!

They are always ready to go outside on a walk!

Especially Ruthanne! She looks so grown up and she is only two!
