New life!

These beautiful roses remind us of new life!

At church, we had a girl raise her hand during the church
service. She went back with Mrs. Messick and asked Christ to
be her Saviour ~ new birth!

God makes all things beautiful and he can change a life
full of sin and make it beautiful too!

Happy Resurrection Sunday!

Going to church is the main event on Sunday,
but this was a special Sunday!

We learned bout Jesus dying on the cross for our sins and
then... rising from the dead! So we can have NEW LIFE in Christ!

God gave us so many special blessings!

Family is one of them!

Hannah had a fun time pulling out all the Kleenex
from the box before church started! Uh oh!

Daniella was the only one who came on the church van. She was saved
during VBS and has been a faithful attender.

She chose not to go to the other Easter egg hunts at other churches
and instead come to church and hear the Bible.

We had a few more children come with family.

...and at Jr. Church time we had some more! :)

Family pictures

Around the house on Saturday!

On Saturday morning we "baked" no bake cookies!

Nathan had fun putting coconut on the top.

Ruthanne enjoyed it too!

After lunch we went on a family walk. Ruthanne
found a "flower."

Nathan tagging behind.

Cute picture! Daddy and daughter - walking
and talking.

After the walk, Mommy rests and Hannah
 finished her rice cakes.

Playing in the backyard.

A fun Spring activity!

This was my children's first time dying eggs.

Everything was new and egg-citing!

Hannah played contentedly by herself.

Mama Smith got her "Grandma" time in.

They colored with a clear crayon.

Then.. plopped the eggs in!

Nathan was patiently waiting to see what was next!

Is it done yet?

Time to eat the hard work!

Yum!

Hannah enjoyed her egg too!

Pretending, Playing, and Practicing!

One morning, I went downstairs to get some
laundry and came in the girl's room to find this scene!

Playing house! With Hannah in the dolly bed!

She seemed to be enjoying every moment of it!

Then Ruthanne was practicing her nursing skills!

And checking her medical books - "Franklin Goes
To the Doctor." She was showing Nathan the pictures
and telling him how to sit.

...then they played blocks.

Like Nathan's smile?

Hannah found a safer spot!

To add to the excitement we got a package from Bapa and Mama Bird!

Nathan letting Hannah climb on him.
